Gloria received her B.A. in Psychology from California State University at Fullerton in 1988. She received her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 1991. Gloria is Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a National Certified Counselor and a Florida Certified Sex Therapist. Her areas of interest are women's issues, couples counseling, relationships, adolescent behavior, sexual relationships, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD), and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD). She has spoken at National Conferences on relationships and conducts workshops on building healthy relationships. Gloria teaches Psychology at Valencia Community College - Winter Park Campus
