Welcome to Edwards Glove Company
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- The J. Edwards Glove Company began operations in a small backyard manufacturing plant located in Appleton, Wisconsin sometime in the early 1940’s. John Edwards was a tradesman who saw the need for a better glove for his industry’s workers, a glove that could meet their need for hand protection with durability, comfort and fit. His company set these ideals as their goal for manufacturing locally a quality glove for area industries, while reducing cost by using Wisconsin tanned Buckskin leather. “Buckskin” is considered to be heavy weight deer or elk leather, of which there was an abundant supply from local tanneries.
