History of Edwin Gould Academy Moving ForwardIn 2001, EGA decided to develop housing for young adults exiting the foster care system. Requests for funding for construction of the building were met with enthusiasm and by the end of 2003, EGA had secured over $9.1 million in funding from governmental and private sources, and construction began in early 2004.
