The company has been established in London for over sixteen years and is run by the two directors, Jeremy Auburn and Christopher Hinson, who have degrees in furniture and 3d design. They had previously established their own furniture companies before setting up Eight By Four.
Dealing in the contract, leisure and domestic markets, the company works with a broad range of materials, from solid timbers, fine veneer work, to stainless steel, glass etc.
Most of our work is bespoke, whether it is a reception desk based on an Architects design, or an in- house designed kitchen, in collaboration with the client. As well as this bespoke work, we do some small production runs and also welcome the opportunity to help develop a design idea, whatever its scale or complexity. This may involve unusual materials or combinations of materials such as concrete, cast aluminium, etc.
