Ekoneem is a company which specialises in a range of Neem products. Founded by mother and daughter team Rosalind Grant and Hilary Thomson, it is run on a day to day operational basis by Hilary.
With their background in livestock farming in Scotland, it was the welfare of their own animals which instigated their search for an alternative natural insect repellent that they could use on their sheep without any side effects.
On a visit to India in 1992, Rosalind came across Neem Oil which the Indians have used for thousands of years as a natural, organic pest control.
