Before starting ESP in 1997, Elaine Smith grew up in the heart of England. Her parents were antique dealers and opened their first store when she was seven years old. She was raised amongst antique fabrics and furnishings. She traveled with her mother on buying trips and constantly searched for unique fabrics and accessories. This created the foundation for her sense of style.
