Claudia Wade has been the owner of A-C Sales Company, an electrical supply for 13 years, and is located at the corporate offices in Fort Worth,Tx. She holds certifications as a D/M/WBE from North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency, as a national WBE thru The Women's Business Council-Southwest and as a certified HUB thru the Texas Building & Procurement Commission. She has held different offices for the last several years with the Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction. She is also active in the Women's Business Center where she has been a coach, mentor, and facilitator. Wade also is a member of several Chambers of Commerce where she serves as a liaison between the Chamber and the small business.
It is very rare for a woman (at least when Claudia started) to be part of the construction arena, specifically electrical supply. She has been in the electrical industry over 20 years. Claudia started out as a receptionist, advancing to accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control, purchasing assistant, and then to purchasing agent.(this was within one company.) Being familiar with most parts of the electrical supply business, it only seemed right to try it on her own. She founded A-C Sales Company in 1993 in Illinois/Tennessee. Keith Wade is the National Sales Director of A-C Sales Company, and works out of the Memphis location. He is mainly responsible for the sales of the new Retropole product.
