In addition to the study of North America game, Ed is a Professional Hunter in South Africa and has hunted South Africa for the past 24 years. He has done a number of years of field study in South Africa which provided the opportunity to make death casts of many animals and a number of the company's African molds. Ed has worked behind the scenes with top taxidermists at the Museum of Natural History in Pretoria, South Africa, as well as the majority of work for several zoological parks/ museums on the East Coast.
Knowledge of the animal habits and habitat enables us to create natural poses and for the client desiring custom work, it allows us to bring a whole scene that you hold in your mind into reality. We get work in from all over the world, with the bulk of our work coming from, Africa, Alaska, Canada, Spain, New Zealand, as well as the North American game and exotics. Our client base is quite varied ranging from the young child catching his first fish, to the local deer/antelope hunter, to the safari hunter. A large number of our clients are Safari Club International members.
