The Encore Digital Media website is written using XHTML 1.0, CSS, and PHP. It is coded using the current World Wide Web Consortium Web Standards (www.w3.org). Web standards have existed since the mid-1990s, but only recently have web browsers shown any reasonable support for them. Currently, Mozilla (www.mozilla.org) and Gecko-based browsers (Firefox, Netscape, Galeon) are the most standards-compliant web browsers, followed by Opera and Safari. If you wish to view web sites correctly, you should upgrade to one of those browsers.
Internet Explorer 6 has made substantial strides in its support of stylesheets and web standards, but still falls short of the Mozilla browsers. If you view this site using an IE browser or a version of Netscape prior to version 6, it will not be rendered correctly. In fact, if you use a Netscape 4.x or earlier browser, a degraded stylesheet will be loaded. This is done so as to still provide the content of this site, regardless of your browser, while sacrificing some of the aesthetic.
