About us
Since 2000 EntitledTo has provided free web-based calculators to help people work out their entitlement to benefits and tax credits. We are one of the few internet information services to have been awarded the Community Legal Service quality mark for websites.
Steve is a professional web site designer who has worked for companies in the aerospace, banking and pharmaceutical industries for over 15 years. He has also developed software for government agencies and was responsible for the New Deal for Disabled People Personal Adviser Application, which was highlighted in the Modernising Government White Paper as a successful implementation of IT in benefits administration. Steve is responsible for the design and functionality of the site.
Phil is an expert on pensions and social security. He has worked as an economist in the civil service and in academia. He has a PhD from the London School of Economics for his thesis Pension Reform in the UK. You can view abstracts of articles he has written on benefit delivery and The Pension Service and on compulsion and pensions policy. Phil is responsible for the content of the site.
