About Us
Hello from the Blackmon’s in Robinson, TX. Thanks so much for taking the time to view our site. We felt it important to give you a brief description of who we are and what we stand for. Our family consists of six people: Mike, Laura, Bryan, Austin, Caitlin and Alex. We range in age from 7 to 59. And then there are the dogs, Chelsea, Pepper and Baby Cakes. And the cats, Jobe (long story), Wiglet and DD Dot Com (another long story). And last but not least; the horses: Triple Dash, Go Rocket Van Go, Who’s Yo Daddy, Driftwood Amos, Ima Rowdy Hancock, and on and on.
We stay very busy with the horses, basketball, track, cheerleading, the Orthodontist, R.A.’s, G.A’s, mission trips with the church and much, much more. We are a very close, Christian family with high standards and morals both for our personal life as well as with our business practices. Unfortunately we cannot say that for everyone that we have been associated with during our years in the horse business. That is why we felt it so important for everyone who views our website to know what kind of people we are. We love the LORD, Jesus Christ and try to live as He did. Although we certainly are not perfect, we strive to live closer to God on a daily basis and allow Him to use us to further His Kingdom. And last, we give God the credit for every bit of success we enjoy, no matter how large or small.
