Mr. Elvis Acosta is the President and CEO of ERRII, and its subsidiaries EA Investigative Services (EIS), Security Operations, Executive (SOE), and the Center for Operational Studies and Training (COST), all of which are licensed in the State of Florida.

Mr. Acosta has an investigative career spanning over two decades and brings a new and unique blend of education, experience and expertise to his profession and ERRII. Mr. Acosta also holds the distinct title of Certified Protection Professional (CPP), through ASIS International, formerly known as the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

Mr. Acosta's technical education and expertise is derived from the US Army, Defense Intelligence Agency, Department of Defense Polygraph Institute, US Customs Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Maryland Institute of Criminal Justice, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, John E. Reid and Associates, Mid-South Institute of Self-Defense Shooting, 902d Military Intelligence Group and vendor courses on surveillance platforms and Title III (electronic surveillance) equipment.

Mr. Acosta is a bi-lingual Spanish speaker and qualified as such by the US State Department and Department of Defense.

Currently, Mr. Acosta serves as Director, Mission Support, US Pacific Command (USPACOM), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC).

Mr. Acosta served as Senior Special Agent and Polygraph Examiner performing computerized polygraph examinations in both the English and Spanish languages for the former US Customs Service. Additionally, Mr. Acosta conducted Asset Forfeiture, Financial, General and Narcotics Smuggling, Child Pornography and Commercial Fraud investigations. Mr. Acosta has experience as an undercover operative and manager, was a team member of the Special Reaction Team (SWAT) and Firearms, MP-5 Special Purpose Rifle, and Confrontational Safety Awareness (Defensive Tactics) Instructor.

Mr. Acosta served as Special Agent for the former Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms conducting investigations in violation of the Gun Control Act of 1968, National Firearms Act and Explosives Control Act, and has experience as an undercover operative, and team member on the Special Reaction Team.

While on active duty in the US Army, Mr. Acosta served Chief, Strategy and Concepts, G3-Plans, and Senior Assistant Contracting Officer Representative, Contract Linguist Program Support Office – Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM); Chief, Operations - Joint Interagency Coordination Group (JIACG) - US Central Command (USCENTCOM); Intelligence Supervisor, Information Superiority - Standing Joint Forces Headquarters (SJFHQ); Liaison Officer, Special Operations Command - Central (SOCCENT); Assistant Army Attaché - US Embassy - Sudan; Deputy Program Manager, Overt Operations; Chief, Interrogation Control Element; Reports Officer, Defense HUMINT Operations Latin America, and Middle East; Operations Officer, Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF); Chief, HUMINT Operations Cell; Military Police Operations and Law Enforcement Officer; Plans, Programs and Training Officer, 7th Region - US Army Criminal Investigations Division; Military Police Company Commander/Platoon Leader and Psychological Operations Officer.

Currently, Mr. Acosta is a Colonel in the US Army, Military Intelligence field and has served in overseas deployments and assignments that include: Republic of Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, Sudan, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Republic of Cuba, Japan, Republic of Colombia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Republic of Korea, Republic of Panama, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany.

Mr. Acosta is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree at Nova Southeastern University. He also attended graduate level courses as an active duty US Army Officer. Mr. Acosta earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Police Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, NY.

Elvis has spent a fair amount of time with the federal government. After 30 years however, Elvis was feeling constrained and desired more autonomy. He decided to leave and start his own company.
