Meet The Creators
Stephanie Johnson is one of the founders of Esoteric Technologies, the company that creates the Solar Fire suite of astrology products. She has helped create, design, develop and author Solar Fire and the other products. In particular she is the author of many of the Solar Writer range of astrology report writers. She is also the Marketing Director for Esoteric Technologies.
Stephanie runs her own Seeing With Stars astrology consultation business as well as editing the Australian Data Collection. She holds a Federation of Australian Astrologers' Practitioner's Certificate and Diploma and is a member of the Federation of Australian Astrologers. She is a student of Medieval Astrology and the Ancient Wisdom teachings. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Esotericism from the University of the Seven Rays, New Jersey, USA, as well as the Robert Zoller Certificate of Medieval Astrology. She has lectured at national conferences, and her astrology articles have appeared in Australian publications including the FAA Journal and the Astrological Monthly Review. Before commencing her professional astrology career Stephanie was a journalist for 15 years in Australia, England and the USA.
Neville Lang is the Technical Director of Esoteric Technologies, starting his role of developing the Solar suite of products in 2007. He is also the author of Astracadabra, the astrology program for Pocket PCs. Neville has been a keen student of astrology since 1970. Most of those years were devoted to studying the various techniques of western astrology such as Traditional, Psychological, Cosmobiology and Medieval. Over the last 6 years he has focused on the study of Vedic astrology techniques and now specialises in this field of astrology.
In parallel to his time in astrology, he has also spent the last 30 years in the computer industry in various capacities—the last 16 years running his own commercial software business as systems analyst and programmer. Neville entered the world of astrology packages for computers in 1992 when he became the Victorian agent for Astrolabe Inc. and in 1994 became Victorian agent for Solar Fire. In that time, he has conducted many demonstrations and training days for Esoteric Technologies' range of products. Since 1997, he has also been active in providing telephone and email technical support nationally for all of Esoteric Technologies' products.
Neville Lang and Stephanie Johnson are directors of Esoteric Technologies Pty Ltd., the company behind Australia's successful software programs Solar Fire, Solar Maps, Solar Writer, Solar Spark and JigSaw.
It is the most successful astrological software company in Australia, and enjoys a world-class reputation for the brilliance of its product design.
In 1994 the company was awarded the Federation of Australian Astrologers' Southern Cross Award for Research and Development, and in 1998 the directors were awarded the Southern Cross award for Community Service and Research.
In 2000 Stephanie Johnson was awarded an FAA Diploma for her share in designing and developing the Solar Fire suite of programs.
Esoteric Technologies Pty Ltd. was formed in 1993 and its rapid growth has confirmed its place among the world's best astrology software companies.
