REVIEW OF ESTROTHIN

By simply mentioning a particular condition such as Menopause, companies more and more it seems, believe that they can sell a particular product alone. EstroThin is one of many products that is marketed exclusively to women. EstroThin is supposedly for women, but the ingredients are decidedly universal.

REVIEW OF EstroThin

EstroThin™ is a weight loss supplement marketed towards women with menopausal symptoms. This is one of many such products on the market, and typically we do not find the formulas contained within these supplements to significantly differ from the common ingredients often found in diet products geared toward either gender. Most of them do not appear to include any ingredients which would specifically treat the needs of women who are going through menopause. EstroThin™ is advertised to create weight loss specifically for menopausal and perimenopausal women. According to its web description, ingestion of this supplement will benefit women through the “loss of weight, elevation of moods, energy boosts and stress release.” EstroThin™ liquid contains – Black Cohosh Root, Green Tea Extract, Guarana and additional ingredients clearly listed at the website. Black Cohosh Root – (also known as black snakeroot) after falling out of favor for several decades, Black Cohosh is once again being featured in products. The root was used as early as 1900 and was thought to relieve various "female problems”. Black Cohosh has also been used for other complaints, including insect bites and eczema. The root can produce unwanted side effects in women. Some experience stomach upset, weight gain, and dizziness when taking Black Cohosh. Many experts recommend taking it for no longer than six months at a time. Moreover, it may interfere with the functioning of certain types of prescription medications, such as birth control. It is advised that you consult a healthcare provider if you suffer from heart disease, before trying Black Cohosh. Green Tea- is a type of caffeine and is often used within weight loss supplements. This ingredient is also a source for antioxidants. Guarana- is also a form of caffeine. The fact that both types are contained does indicate this formula includes a large amount of stimulants that may create unwanted side effects, such as nausea, jitteriness and insomnia. Nutritionists do not recommend dieters use a daily dietary supplement that contains caffeine and other harsh stimulants. We would like to note that this product comes in liquid form. For the most part we prefer capsule-based supplements, since we think they offer the best delivery method to successfully transport the supplements into the body for absorption. Overall, we do not feel that this specific formula will offer anything special to menopausal and perimenopausal women. The ingredients are commonly found in numerous weight loss supplements. Look for products that contain a patented fat burner and a proven appetite suppressant are much more likely to create weight loss results.
