Founded in 1991 by John McKinlay, Town and Country is an industry leader, backed with John's 14 years of full-time appraisal experience. His experience makes him a leader in the industry.
John, (pictured above in his rowing days, circa.1959), is an outstanding member of the community. He has been involved in numerous civic and community activities including: the Bloomfield Rotary Club (past President), governing board member of the local American Legion, and a veteran (having served in the U. S. Marine Corps). He was twice a member of the United States Olympic Rowing Team, earning a silver medal in 1956. He earned his undergraduate degree from Boston University on a rowing scholarship. His numerous international athletic awards and U.S. Rowing National Championships earned him induction into the Boston University's Athletic Hall of Fame.
