About Evangel
Evangel is an accredited university with more than 80 academic programs on the cutting edge of today's professional fields. Our standards of excellence attract students who have a strong commitment to academics and who tend to have above average ACT and SAT scores.
Intercollegiate and Extracurricular Activities
The Evangel University Crusaders have an outstanding NAIA sports program. Varsity sports include football, basketball, baseball, softball, tennis, volleyball, golf and track. Other activities include intercollegiate speech teams, campus media, honor societies, traveling music ensembles and student government.
Philosophy
Evangel's theme, "Christ is Lord," touches every aspect of campus life--spiritual, intellectual, social and physical. Our staff, curriculum and campus activities center around helping students integrate their Christian faith into their chosen career fields.
