EventInfo.ca is the collaborative effort of two individuals from Victoria, BC, Canada. Andrew Klassen and Justin Tanner run the EventInfo Network from wherever they may be in the world. Andrew Klassen currently resides in Germany where he is studying for an MA in International Relations, Justin Tanner lives in Victoria BC where he is completing a degree in Computer Science. Since Andrew and Justin are both full time students EventInfo does not get as much attention as it should.
EventInfo.ca was created to list any and every event in Canada. Andrew had been organizing events for many years and saw an opportunity to serve the community by providing a free online event listing service. The idea was to have a user controlled and maintained website that was fully automated and could instantly update any changes members made to their info. Justin Tanner provided the essential technical expertise and programming skills to make EventInfo.ca possible.
EventInfo.ca is an automated online database system that lists any kind of event from anywhere in Canada. It also provides an entertainment directory for artists, promoters, venues, businesses, and websites. EventInfo.ca is completely free to use and add content to. It allows members to submit and maintain their events, profiles, and other listings with their accounts. Since EventInfo.ca is a free service it only covers maintenance costs.
