Since it was founded in 1920 as The Jobber's Salesman, the magazines has won numerous Jesse H. Neal awards from the American Business Press and national awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors for editorial excellence.

Jim Lucy, chief editor, has covered the electrical industry since joining Electrical Wholesaling in 1982. He has been the editor in chief of EW since 1992, also serving as editor in chief of CEE News from 1999 to 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism, and a Master of Arts degree in communications, both from Glassboro State College, Glassboro, New Jersey.

Sarah Tobaben Dolash, managing editor, has worked on Electrical Wholesaling since 2000. She has 10 years of experience covering the electrical industry, including four years with CEE News. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
