Back in 1994, only one year after one of the first Web browsers were born, we decided to design a web page ---- Experience New Orleans! to promote the positive side of our city and help visitors plan their trips. Having been online since the 80s, we were increasingly surprised at the negative perception so many people had of New Orleans, and were determined to change it as best we could by showcasing the best of New Orleans -- the side that we know and love.

At that time there were probably fewer than 1000 Web pages on the entire web while today that number is greater than one billion! Over time, as we continued our study of the ever-changing field of internet technology and online marketing, our site evolved into a comprehensive multi-page site that is visited by millions today.
