In May of 1966 the tenacious Kathy Fabbrini opened a fine gift shop with fresh flowers and named it "Brass and Glass". With very little money and a boatload of courage and dreams, she started a family business that continues today as the oldest business in Hoffman Estates and a pillar in the communities of Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg.
Many changes have occurred since that 1st day. Fresh flowers became the staple of the business. So, the Fabbrini family decided to name their flower shop "Fabbrini's Flowers".
Fabbrini's Flowers was the first small merchant and only florist to ever do business in Woodfield Mall, and remained there for 17 years.
