The Fairmount Park Council for Historic Sites was incorporated in October of 1982. The purpose of the Council is to preserve, restore, improve and increase the public awareness and visitation of the historic mansions and sites of Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.

We invite you to use this web site to learn more about some of the most beautiful and historically significant buildings in America. We suggest you call the various sites prior to your visit in case of schedule changes or if you need more detailed directions.

Also, you can take the Trolley Tour that leaves from the Art Museum in place of visiting each house individually. The Trolley Tour visits many houses on the same day.
