Description
The Rev. Dr. John N. Cedarleaf has been pastor of the First Congregational United Church of Christ since September, 1984. He previously served as Pastor of the Evangelical Congregational United Church of Christ in Grafton, Mass. (1975-1984), and First Congregational United Church of Christ in Turners Falls, Mass. (1969-1975).
Pastor Cedarleaf received his BA from North Park College in Chicago, Illinois and his M. Div. from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Centre, Mass. He also received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Andover, Newton. He was ordained by the Franklin Association, Massachusetts Conference, United Church of Christ in 1969.
Pastor Cedarleaf has served on numerous denominational and ecumenical committees. At the present time he serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Fairport Baptist Homes Caring Ministries, as well as being a member of the Commission on Christian Jewish Relations. He is also a member of the executive committee of the Mercersburg Society.
