Family Law Attorney Hugh W. Davy has been involved in the business aspect of law for more than 35 years. He began his career as the business manager for the Marin County Probation Department in California. He then worked as an in-house consultant to the California state trial courts, working with judges, prosecuting attorneys, public defenders and the private bar to reduce court delay. He also led the installation of computers in the California Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
Seattle Attorney Hugh Davy worked as a volunteer attorney for the King County Family Law Mentor Program and found the practice of family law to be especially rewarding. After opening his own practice in 1999, Mr. Davy has successfully represented clients in all aspects of family law. He expanded his practice into a partnership with Melanie A. Maxwell in 2004.
Family Law Attorney Melanie A. Maxwell has practiced in complex civil litigation for over 20 years, 12 of which has focused on family law in the State of Washington. Born and raised in California, she has been a Seattle resident and attorney since 1993.
