Susan Lieberman is a graduate of the Assessment and Counselling program at the University of Toronto's Institute of Child Study. She is an individual, couple and family therapist who also specializes in family mediation and custody and access assessments. Susan is a qualified expert in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Susan combines her training in mediation and psychoeducational assessments with a broad range of work experience in solution-focussed therapy, family systems and cognitive therapy. This background allows her to provide clients with a unique and innovative approach to treatment.
Susan works with other professionals in a range of contexts in order to reach a larger and more diverse client population. She has presented various "Lunch & Learns" at the law firm of Goodman and Carr and at the Toronto Dominion Bank located in the TD tower. As well, she maintains a private practice in Toronto with special emphasis on the treatment of family problems, adolescent and adult depression, children with A.D.D. and marital problems. She has experience working in settings such as community agencies, schools, shelters, residential programs and hospitals.
