Not many subjects can approach it for the sheer number of poems, songs, programmes, paintings, films etc that it has inspired.
From romance to love handles, from loving life to the love of your life, from 'lovely jubbly' to 'love a duck', there is just no getting away from love. Fortunately, for most us there is a built in tendency to not want to get away from love. So that works out well, eh?
