in december 1999 the fantasy desktops was created. we had free hosting and the website was popular with friends and locals for a couple of years. with encouragement from our close friends to go live with this idea of creating only origianl wallpapers online, in december 2003 the fantasy desktops domain name was registered. the site opened with the same 45 original images from the free hosting service. since then, my techniques have changed with diversity of colors, style, and worldly locations, made on my computer to share with you.

for all my faithful surfers who have been with this site since the early days have seen the different changes that this site has gone through. on a periodic basis the site has gone through a make over, and now early in 2006, fantasy desktops is going through another change. my thoughts are to have the site go through changes and progressing with different styles and colors to keep it fresh and interesting, instead of the same style all the time. as new ideas of page designs happen through my witto brains cells, those ideas are then written in.

this time around the style has changed to a lighter tone, getting away from the dark tones and image filtering used, which was only available to internet explorer users. the transparent image filters did add a nice effect to the pages, however, since more surfers everyday are using firefox as their browser, these image filters have been eliminated from my pages, and the javascripts for them also.
