- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is the most frequent birth defect in North America, always causing permanent brain damage. Obvious effects are usually absent so FASD is often invisible.

- This website is a Canadian resource. However, at this point in time, the community resources listed on the site are mainly Ontario resources, since it is developed by FASD Ontario Justice Committee members. In time and with input from the users of the site, we will expand our list.

- The [Case Law section of the site will be updated with new decisions that refer to FASD. Also, with the help of your feedback, we will do a comprehensive review of the content of the site.
