Our Mission is to help elders and people with disabilities remain in their homes - safely, comfortably, and independently - for as long as they are able, and to support their caregivers as they try to balance the competing needs of family, work and self.
Franklin County Home Care Corporation (FCHCC) is a private, non-profit corporation established in July, 1974, which develops, provides, and coordinates a range of home care services designed to support and maintain the independent living of elders within the community. In some of our programs we are able to serve adults with disabilities. Services and supports are also provided to families and friends caring for loved ones.
As one of 27 Home Care Corporations in the Commonwealth, the Agency's primary goal is to assist elders and others in securing and maintaining maximum independence in their home or in the community. The Corporation has also been designated as one of 23 Area Agencies on Aging within the state and 660 such agencies across the country.
