Being a featured wiki page is a great way to get exposure for the websites, people, communities and portals that you care about.

By building a great wiki page, not only do you put that page on the radar to be featured, but it helps to inform people about the services or information available, furthers web presence, engages the current user base to join the open conversation about those services or information, and is just a great way to join the conversation that is the AboutUs community at large.

Nominating wiki pages (which could be about websites, people, portal pages or any non-domain specific page) to be featured on AboutUs is a simple process:

• Click this button and then type in the page title you want nominate:

There's no great secret to getting picked to be a featured wiki page -- Here are some elements of a great wiki page that potential features might want to incorporate:

• a logo
• a couple of other images (product photos, screen shots or related art)
• background history on the website
• description of the site
• influence us testimonials
• press releases

Community members are welcome to look at various pages that have been nominated and leave notes in the discussion on the worthiness of the nomination. Please keep comments constructive, eg. "Wow, this is great, how about adding a screenshot to really top it off," or "I love what you did with the testimonials. Great page!"
