- Federal Sandrail began as a company with a unique vision. Originally, our main focus was to develop a possible candidate for the United States Military’s next FAV “Fast Attack Vehicle”. Once reviewing the requirements for this class of vehicle from the U.S. Department of Defense, it quickly became clear that Federal would need to produce revenue from other sources in order to fund this long-term effort.
