- Fertile Ground was founded September 1, 2002. Its beginning was founded on Christian principles. We decided to sow a seed in a ministry called “Joy of a Child”. We felt we were planting our seed in fertile ground. Joy of a Child is based on biblical teachings. From that “seed” we got the idea for an organic gardening, lawn, and hydroponic store. Then with dirt in hand, we began preparing to open our newly found store, “Fertile Ground”.
