Background Information
This site's main purpose is to help other players organize events (especially events requiring large amounts of players). You post your event on this site and other players can join the event by subscribing to the event. Think about it - no more yelling "LFP" in Jueno for long periods of time, needing help for your AF, or organizing dynamis events. For players needing to join an event, they have the opportunity to search the event database or get a listing and order the results they see fit. Would you like to know which events are about to start? Click on the "Time Left" heading and it will sort it by that column.
The motivation behind this application is to do away with the traditional LFP method in FFXI which is very inefficient in terms of time. I often hear players complaining about not being able to find party members for an event (I do this too) - often taking hours with their LFP flag up. Be more productive with your time - post your event outside the game for others to see and let them join if they want. You can even be emailed when someone joins your event!
