L’Atelier Ficat réédite des pièces anciennes en terre cuite pour l’ornementation de la maison, des parcs et jardins. La production s’inscrit dans le respect des techniques traditionnelles, perpétuant le savoir-faire et la qualité de l’art statuaire du XVIIIème au XIXème siècle. L'estampage est effectue à la main dans des moules à pièces. Rigoureusement sélectionnées et cuites à haute température ( 1150°C ) ,toutes nos terres (rouge, rose, blanche ) offrent des garanties reconnues : Esthétique, longévité, résistance au gel. Une gamme variée d'ornements architecturaux déclinables dans des matériaux qui répondent aux exigences de la construction et de la restauration Inspirés des grands thèmes de l'architecture classique, nos modèles en terre, plâtre ou ciment pierre personnalisent intérieurs, façades, toitures, terrasses et jardins. Jean Loup FICAT is a statuary and caster who makes statues and all sorts of items, using terra cota, plaster or stone-cement, meant for interior or exterior decoration or architecture. The terra-cota production is in keeping with professional techniques. We carry on the know how and the statuary art quality of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The stamping is hand made using old moulds. Strictly selected and high temperature cooked (1150 ° c) our terra-cota (red, pink or white) offers the guarantees of aesthetic, longevity and frost resistance. We offer a wide range of architectural ornaments always made with approved materials for construction or restoration. Our terra-cota, plaster or cement models inspired by classical architecture's main themes, can give a personal touch to your home, facades, roofing, terraces or gardens. Jean Loup Ficat is a French potter and sculptor who designs and makes objets in terracotta, plaster and stones for interior decoration, exteriors and gardens. No far from Toulouse, in the unspoiled countryside of southouest France. Jean Loup makes interior ornaments and exterior decoration according to the traditional craftsman's way His terracotta work perpetuates the hightly developed art of southern European statue-making in the 17th-19th centuries. The carefully selected red, pink and white clays he work with (the Pyrenees mountains are just down the road) are hand-moulded and and fired to 1150°, producing esthetics works of practical, long exterior-life. Jean Loup Ficat produces a wide range of original decorative objets and statuary in both traditional and modern materials, including clays, plaster, resin and composites. The mix of finishes, from glazes through enamels, to natual patins and varnishes, multiplies the breadth of Jean Loup Ficat product range. Jean Loup works a lot with architecs and private owneers, fashioning ornamentals for parks and properties. He restores and makes copies of the ancient in the original materials, or designs modern pieces in the diferent matters he uses in decoration.
