Welcome to all my visitors and to those who regularly visit my site. As you are aware of, there are many diseases we know now that can easily transmit to human beings: One of the well known is mad cow disease. This disease is incurable and it is sad to know that victims die from it. (And lately, we heard the news about SARS which are very contagious and killed thousands. It was found out that the disease came from a wild cat that is native to Tibet which is China's delicacy). And now the bird flu. So, the only possible way to prevent it is by not eating it. But, because we are so use to eating meat products, it's hard to avoid it specially in this age that there are lots of fast food restaurants. So if we cannot totally avoid it, I think minimizing it and adding some vegetarian diet is the best thing that we could do.
This is the reason of creating this site. There are many web sites out there that has many vegetarian recipes but not quite popular because we are so use to eating what our taste buds love, not what our bodies really need. By adding my site to to the world wide web with those vegetarian sites, well, it means that I'm adding the chances that people will be more health conscious.
And about yours truly; I'm a CAD (Computer Aided Design) Engineer working in a semiconductor bonding tools company. Although my profession is distant to a culinary profession, we, and me particularly, is still in a dire need at least a basic knowledge of properly preparing food. Because every body eats, having a little know-how in cooking will surely be beneficial to us and those around us.
