- This site was created to provide further insight on percussion and the artists that inspire drummers. I began to gain interest in percussion around the age of 8. The main influences of my childhood originated from my two older brothers that also played percussion at the time. Eventually, I acquired my oldest brother's 5 piece Adam drum kit to further my interests. Throughout the years I have played in a few high school and college bands. Later in college I have played with several bands with genres of jazz, blues, funk, rock, and country.
