- The First Hour gang is made up of Corey Mixter, Michael Blodgett, Adam Eugenio, and Paul Walter Hauser. These four young (some would say cute) men will stop at nothing to bring the world a whole new bundle of comedy. This extraordinary adventure began in their hometown of Saginaw, Michigan, with a young Corey on the first day of fourth grade. On this fateful September morning, a powerful friendship was created. Michael and Corey quickly became best friends after expressing their equal love for the works of Mr. George Lucas. They soon found themselves in front of cameras, gaining critical acclaim in their first ever collaboration, “The Monster in the Pool.” This emotionally charged roller coaster went on to charm millions, but their success was short lived. After struggling for months with an intense cocaine addiction, 12 year old Corey was through with the film industry. Corey and Michael decided to stick to their roots of writing and producing skits. Five years later, the young boys teamed up with an attractive Texan named Adam Eugenio to form an multimedia power trio. They went on through high school writing scripts and producing short films left and right, sharing their love for comedy with anyone who would give them a couple of minutes. Their senior year of high school was a very exciting time. They were elected to produce a television program for all of Saginaw to enjoy. Every morning, they would assemble in their classroom at 7:40 in the morning, or “First Hour,” and come up with ideas for the show that would air less than two hours later. Their success inspired them to continue their comedic journey and move on to bigger and better things. The summer after graduation was packed full of ideas and shorts. When the time came to move on to college, the men kicked things into full gear. They started writing vigoroursly, but Michael’s hopes and dreams were almost crashed when he broke his wrist from writing too fast. This didn’t stop them from continuing on their quest to show the world their new brand of comedy. They soon teamed up with long-time friend Paul Walter Hauser to form “The First Hour Gang.” With the launch of their website in December of 2005, they could now show the entire planet their silly ideas. 2006 is sure to be an exciting year for these fine young boys, so saddle up partner… and prepare for the ride of your life!
