Operations
Formed in 1988, First Report now provides access to one of the UK's largest credit status information services. Our main offices are based in the heart of the City of London just off Ludgate Hill, and our Regional Office operates from Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire, from where our customer support team assists over 5,000 clients ranging from small businesses to blue chip and household name companies.
Approach
Our growth has been consistent and sustained, and is based on innovation and sound management rather than acquisition. We are always thinking of new and constructive ways to improve our service, and in this sense we often leave other less agile organisations lagging behind. We also draw on talented people from other businesses with whom we work closely.
When we first entered the credit information market we found that credit reference data was unnecessarily complicated, and that large subscriptions were demanded in return for discounted prices. We have focused on providing credit reference information that is clear and accessible, and does not require high spend entry levels.
