- Let's start with a "believe it or not". Not too long back, Adventure Magazine listed The Fish Pier at 667 East Broadway as, "One of the ten best places on the East Coast to get fried chicken". Now, this is South (!) Boston, of course, but the East Coast includes a very substantial portion of the true Deep South, which everyone thinks of as fried chicken country. Not too shabby for a Southie restaurant (move over, Colonel).
