"My mission statement for myself and my company is "Be the Dream - Live Your Dreams." I started Fit Maternity for several reasons: I wanted to be at home with my baby and I wanted to support and empower women to exercise at whatever level they felt comfortable during and after their pregnancy. As an adventure racer, mountain climber, river guide and skier, I hope to relate to women who continue to pursue their passions during and after delivery.

Laurie is a professional athlete, endurance runner and climber. She summited Denali in 2005, and is currently training for a Spring ascent on Mt Everest; one of the purposes of this climb is to bring awareness to the children of Bodghaya, India. • 1999-2004- - Raced for Subaru, Seagate, Deloitte Consulting and Discreet Technologies. Races ranged in length form 8 days to 12 hrs.
