Description
Established in 1995 by Thomas Barrup and Charles Pardue, Barrup & Associates Engineering Inc., became well known by local architects and construction firms in North Florida for fast efficient mechanical and electrical designs for small to moderate size construction projects. The business filled the need of providing signed and sealed documents over and above approval levels of architects and licensed contractors.
The designs were assembled by Chuck and Tom while running separate spreadsheet calculation programs in two different office locations. The results were shipped back and forth on the Internet E-mail. Then along with late night telephone conversations to double confirm and ensure the calculations were correct the final designs were approved and shipped to the various clients by fax, E-mail, FedEx or UPS.
Chuck came up with the idea of producing a fast efficient software that could be used by both partners to make this process easier. In June 2000, Chuck became sole proprietor of the company and and formed © Electrosoft, Inc.
