Us, In A Nutshell
FlickCritics.com publishes edgy, independent and fun-to-read movie reviews and opinions that are written by two moviegoing brothers, who simply put, can't see enough flicks.

Flick Critic's Evolution
Flickcritics.com is a new web incarnation (launched in early 2008) but it’s really been in existence since the late 1970’s, at least in the minds of its founding partners, Brandon & Eric Piddington, who happen to be two thirty-something brothers who love to go to the movies and talk about them after the credits roll.
We both argue about what’s good, what’s not, and what could and should be done differently on any given flick; now you get to peek into the minds of two full-time moviegoers that expect a lot for their hard earned money. The good thing is we don’t owe allegiance to anyone or anything, which means if we think something is worth seeing, you’ll know exactly why, and if it’s not, we won’t hold back the trash talking either.
Along the way we will be adding other movie resources to this labor of love and hopefully you will enjoy what we have to say, and sometimes, particularly what we don’t say.
Rating Methodology
We try and remember that each film is an entity unto itself and attempt to critique each on its own merit. Categorically, we like to rate flicks based on their genre, how the intended message came across, intended believability, originality, acting performances, cinematography, music score and simply how the film made us feel.
Zero stars (0) is our lowest rating, but a film has to do some ridiculous (bad) things for that honor to be given out. Three stars (3) is average. Five stars (5) is our highest rating, and again, a film has to do some ridiculous things (good) for that honor to be given out. We do not entertain half-stars, as we like to dish out whole number tongue-lashings and/or praises.
