Florida Estates Winery is Tampa Bay’s first premium winery, producing world class wines from the best of Florida’s fine bunch wine grapes, combined with wines from the world’s finest wine producing areas. The winery is now open to the general public for conducted tastings and sales. Picnics are welcome. Normal hours of operation are from 11am until 5pm daily. The winery is located on a 3,600 acre working ranch/plantation at 25241 State Road 52, four (4) miles west of I-75 (exit 285, old exit 59).

Florida Estates Winery has a sister winery, Eden Vineyards, Ft. Myers (Alva) FL that is the oldest operating farm Winery in Florida. In the many years of hosting thousands of individuals and groups, we have leaned that most people interested in visiting a winery want to learn something new, useful and meaningful about wines. They want to increase their knowledge of wines, learn how to better appraise differences and enhance their enjoyment of wines. A “tour” looking at tanks, barrels and machinery is just no longer satisfactory.

Participating in a professionally conducted tasting of multiple wines is a meaningful and enjoyable sensory experience that enables the individual to better judge and appreciate wines. The tasting takes a little more time, (usually 30-40 min.) but the overwhelming majority of visitors really appreciate the opportunity to gain information not only about Florida Estates Winery’s unique grapes and wines, but valuable information that helps them better understand and enjoy all wines.
