One night after spending the day setting up a wedding, I went back to the reception site and sat down on the grass outside the tent. Inside the tent the lights were dimmed, the candles flickering and the scent of lilies filled the air. It was at that moment that I realized why I love what I do. It's the only way I know how to create magic. I started working in the floral industry 15 years ago. Over the years, I watched and learned from some of the best florists in the area (many of whom I still work with today). After taking a couple of years off to raise my family, I decided to start my own business doing custom designed wedding flowers. I did my first wedding on my own in 1998 and haven't looked back since.
I work exclusively with wedding and event flowers. There is no daily flower shop to run, which allows me to focus all of my attention on each bride's personal floral needs. I do not advertise, I have always relied on word of mouth and this year I did my 100th wedding. I personally design all floral arrangements and I take great pride in my personalized one-on-one service. For larger events, I have a fantastic crew that works with me to make sure that all the details, from prep-work to set-up, are taken care of. I truly appreciate all of their effort and hard work.
Every bride and groom deserve to have a beautiful wedding, no matter what their budget is. I do a set-pricing policy that allows the couple to choose which flowers they want, without worrying about the additional cost of per flower charges.
