After spending 28 years traveling around the country as a management consultant, Jim Hall decided to change his career. After some investigative work Jim decided to look into the Trailer industry. There were literally hundreds of thousands of light duty trailers in the country and really no place to buy , get parts or get trailers serviced.
All of the people that knew Jim advised him that you couldn't do this as a full time business, but more like a side line thing i.e. own a gas station or something like that and sell trailers off on the side grass.
The mid to late 60's were tough years and Jim decided to quit several times but nobody was hiring and it beat staying a home. Two groups of trailer buyers can be thanked for this business surviving. The first is the infamous Supers, these are Super Modified race cars, 1200lbs. 1200hp super fast race cars. And his personal favorite Harley Davidson Motorcycles. These two groups bought trailers to go to race tracks and trailers to make the trip to Bike week in Daytona Beach, Fl.
