Description

Flying Colors Farm was founded in 1995 by the former Lt. Governor of Florida, Bobby Brantley, and his wife, Patti. An avid foxhunter and show hunter, Patti recognized the need for top quality pinto sporthorses bred for the hunter ring and jumping. After two years of research they began the search to find the best mares possible to begin their breeding program.

Their dedication to quality has shown. Flying Colors horses have won many hunter championships throughout Southeastern and Virginia Hunter Circuits. In the breeding divisions, wins have included high placements in the International Hunter Futurity East Coast Finals, Best Young Horse at the Jacksonville Mid Winter Shows, and top ribbons in some of the most prestigious shows of Upperville, Keswick and Lexington, VA.

Their stallion, Claim to Fame's win of Best Colt of the Hunter Breeding Division at Devon 2000 made history when he became the first pinto horse to win a hunter breeding class in Devon history. His foals are following in his footsteps in conformation classes nationally and have won him the title of Best Get of Sire at the prestigous Upperville Colt and Horse Show 2004. They have also taken three of the top five placings at the International Hunter Futurity in 2004 and two of the top five spots in the National Hunter Breeding Championships. Claim to Fame is now bringing home Championships from all over the East in Conformation Hunters and many over fences divisions.
