About Foods of New York Tours
Foods of New York Tours was established in 1999 to help visitors and local residents find the ultimate food and cultural experience "off the beaten path." We began our research by enjoying the delicious ethnic foods and diverse musical venues that existed within Greenwich Village and SoHo.
The adventure truly began twenty years ago by simply strolling through these wonderful neighborhoods and taking in all that was offered. We sampled the perfect slice of thin crust New York style pizza, Turkish donor kebab, and quite possibly the best fresh filled canoli in the entire world.
From there we rested in a tiny café and listened to an elderly man playing that classic Indian instrument, the sitar.
