- The Fort Osage Fire Protection District is a progressive, combination emergency services department which protects 115 square miles of Northeast Jackson County, Missouri. The District borders Liberty to the North, Kansas City and Independence to the West, Central Jackson County and Sni-Valley Fire Protection Districts to the South and Wellington-Napoleon Fire Protection District to the East.
