The mission of the Friends of the St. Thomas Public Libraries is to preserve and strengthen library services and create awareness and appreciation of the importance of the public libraries.
Most of the new books that have been added to the libraries and most of the programs that take place at Enid M. Baa Library are the result of the work of the Friends of the St. Thomas Public Libraries.
Our outreach programs at the clinics, in the wards of the hospital, community centers, senior centers, and free book shelves around the island are designed to show the community's need for library services that are not now available.
