Free Agent Boston is an informal network of people working solo in the greater Boston area organized by Susan Kaup. The project got its start December 1999 when Susan invited a couple of free agent friends to get together for lunch. Since then Free Agent Boston has hosted dozens of networking, educational and social events for people working outside the corporate 9-5 world who want to exchange ideas, collaborate on projects and see someone during the day other than the mailman.
