Awesome site where when you work on your vocabulary skills, you are simultaneously generating a donation of 20 grains of rice per correct answer.
Staggering Figures
Only three months into the launch and the maths are already staggering. They've been donating about 1/4 billion grains of rice per day in Dec 2007 (6405.387 kg!). That's, 12,000,000 answers/day, which is quite of bit of vocabulary improvement worldwide!
Self Sustaining
Probably the best thing about is that the website is self sustaining i.e., 12 million answers per day means around 15 million page views, so the money that comes from the ads being displayed on each page is enough to donate over six and a half thousand kilograms of rice each day.
